Using the 3D maps of CompeGPS you will have the ground altitude data available for any zone of the world, including the sea bed. Explore the orography of any zone you wish, set your maps on the corresponding landscape and provide all your works with the altitude data. 

These maps are composed by a grid with a certain separation between points. This separation is 90 meters (1Km in the World map) but, in the sea bed, the points have been infered from a bathymetric map of 2Km between points. The resulting maps have an accurancy similar to a 1:900 000 scale).

These CDEM maps can be opened with any of the actual versions of CompeGPS Land/Air (version 5.5 or higher) and CompeGPS Pocket Land/Air. Anyway, due to their big size, maybe it will not be practical to work with the complete map in the PDA and we recommend to send, from the PC version (even free Demo version), only the area that you will use.
